Who gets paid first from a troubled cooperative?

Cooperative Law (Sahakari Law)

Section 108 establishes a payment priority. Member savings payable under the agreed savings terms are placed first, followed by other statutory categories.

If the assets are insufficient to pay all liabilities, proportional payment can be used, and the management committee must prioritize small depositors as it determines.
